Over 10,000 civil and criminal subpoenas and court orders were issued to be served in 2016.  We have five deputies assigned to process these court actions by traveling our parish to personally serve the required person.  The supervisor of this division, as well as clerical deputies, has the responsibility of processing warrants, bonds and traffic fines as well as making court appearances for processing court findings.  Bailiff duties within the District Court also fall under the responsibilities of this division.
